Australian doctor Richard Skoyler, who was diagnosed with glioblastoma (a very aggressive type of brain tumor that has a very low chance of survival a year after diagnosis) a year ago, has announced that his latest MRI showed no recurrence of the tumor. This is reported by the BBC, which says the 57-year-old doctor tested a study he developed to treat skin cancer, but in his case applied to a brain tumor.

“I’m just thrilled and delighted… I’m very happy,” he told the aforementioned media outlet.
